Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities. This statement (German: Barrierefreiheitserklärung) explains how accessible the site is and how to reach us if you run into a barrier.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at levelAA — the recognised international standard for accessible websites. We build and review the site with that standard in mind.
Known limitations
We believe the site meets WCAG 2.2 level AA. Three things to keep in mind:
- The videos in our collection are hosted and played on YouTube. We have no influence on their accessibility, for example on captions.
- Material added after launch, such as images, documents or embedded content, can fall short, for example through a missing text description. We check new content against the standard as it is built, and fix what we find.
- If you hit a barrier we haven't caught, please tell us. We treat it as a bug to fix.
Legal framework
This website provides information about our practice. It currently offers no online appointment booking, no ordering and no shop. Should such consumer facing functions be added later, the formal requirements of the Austrian Accessibility Act (Barrierefreiheitsgesetz, BaFG) must be reviewed, in particular the statements on the compliance status and on feedback and enforcement. Microenterprises with fewer than 10 employees and an annual turnover of at most 2 million euro are exempt.
Report a barrier
If you find a barrier on this site, or need something here in a different format, please tell us. We'll help, and we'll fix what we can. Email praxis@claudia-aichinger.com or use our contact form. We aim to reply within a few working days.
